On Wednesday, September 12, a research paper was published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA)[i] which left many people confused about one of the most-researched, fundamental nutritional supplements available today: omega-3 fatty acids, commonly known as fish oil. My wife recently told me a story about a shopping trip she was on. While waiting in line, she was doing some people-watching and began listening to the conversation of the woman in front of her, who was speaking with the cashier.
