Hard-boiled eggs are the perfect high-protein, on-the-go snack. That said, we might need to spice them up once in a while for variety.
This deviled egg dip is a favorite in our Life Cafe, and now you can enjoy it at home, at work or on the run!
Deviled Egg Dip

Growing up, I always thought eggs were reserved for special occasions only—whether at a restaurant with my grandparents or at baptism brunches.
Add to this the fact that eggs had, at one time, come under considerable fire for their high cholesterol content (we’ll address that in a moment). It was enough to make me reserve eggs for an occasional breakfast food only. However, with so many health benefits associated with the consumption of eggs, we should be eating them frequently.
How nutrient dense was your diet today?
Some foods offer us nothing positive for the calories and artificial ingredients they contain. These are the "empty" options that we want to let go of on the way to better health and successful weight loss.

But what does a superfood diet really look like? How far will it take me from my normal tastes and routines? Read on for a list of the top superfoods you can enjoy - and seven menus that will help you incorporate them today.

Do you avoid salads because you hate lettuce? I hate lettuce. I really do. Spinach, iceberg, romaine, kale, whatever—I rarely use it in my salad making at home. I simply prepare and consume salads (while dining out) merely for the guts of it—the protein, the nuts/seeds, and the other vegetables.
Mason jar salads are a huge hit for me and my clients. Not only are they easy to prep and pack but the combinations are endless—perfect for someone on the go who likes continued variety and perfect for those, like me, who really just enjoy the guts of a salad and no lettuce.
I have several things in my life I refer to as my “reliables.” This recipe is one of those….
Sure, I always seem to have the ingredients on hand. However, even if I “screw up” the mixture or measure wrong, it always turns out deliciously well. Maybe that’s why it’s my go-to energy ball recipe. I switch the ingredients up fairly often depending on my mood or the season, but this is without a doubt my favorite.
Why is it so “knock your socks off” good? Obvious reason first: coffee. Obvious reason number two: dark chocolate.
